MediaTek launches new Dimensity 7360 processor

MediaTek has launched a new mid-range processor following the launch of its flagship processor 9500.

This new processor is a relaunch of the Dimensity 7300 processor that released last year, under a new name: Mediatek Dimensity 7360.

At its core, it built on a familiar architecture of four Arm Cortex-A78 performance cores running at up to 2.5Ghz, paired with four Cortex A-55 performance cores.

This is a standard layout for this segment but MediaTek makes a difference with its software upgrade. It now supports Adaptec Gaming Technology 3.0.

On the imaging front, the 950 ISP supports cameras up to 200 megapixels. Real-time HDR recording, noise reduction.

The chip features Mira Vision 955 for improved display rendering with 10-bit color support and WFHD+ channels. Connectivity options include VONR, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE audio, and Dual Link stereo.

It supports UFS 3.1 and LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 RAM.
