Both Snapdragon and MediaTek have announced their sub-flagship chips.
A few days ago, Qualcomm’s upcoming chip, the previously rumored Snapdragon 8s Elite, was replaced by a different name, the 8s Gen 4, and it looks like MediaTek is also changing the name of its chipset.
A recent leak suggests that the Dimensity 9350 will instead be called the Dimensity 9400e.

It will be paired with the flagship 9400 series chipset instead of the 9300 series chipset, but it will be an upgrade to the 9300 chipsets.
The 9400e chipset is a 9300 series core architecture with a single Cortex-X4 Prime core and three additional Cortex-X4 four Cortex A720 performance cores, may see an increase in block speed.
According to information obtained through leaks, OnePlus is also working on a new phone to run on this chipset, which is called the Ace 5v. It is expected to have a 7000 mAh battery and a 1.5k display.
