Huawei is developing its own ecosystem, separating itself from Western countries. Huawei already produces its own mobile chipset and OS, all for mobile. Now, Huawei is going a step further and launching its own PC OS.
Huawei is currently launching HarmonyOS PC to compete with the existing Windows OS, Linux OS, and Apple’s Mac OS.

HarmonyOS PC is based on 3 key pillars: Harmony OS Foundation, Harmony OS Ecosystem and Harmony OS Experience.
The HarmonyOS kernel includes the ARK Engine Short Shield framework and various backend components for graphics and UI performance.

The HarmonyOS ecosystem includes over 150 exclusive apps and integrations for over 2000 global ecosystem apps, along with integrated WPS Office and applications to meet basic computing needs.
The HarmonyOS experience brings support for over a thousand external devices, including 800 standard peripherals and 20 device types such as keyboards, mice, and monitors, printers, scanners, and more, as well as over 200 secondary devices.
